I'm Jason Otrin, owner of Greater Things Tech and Army veteran. I have 17 years of experience helping people with information technology in the corporate world and supporting small-businesses with their tech needs. I have worked in many areas of technology: as a server and network administrator, help desk technician and IT manager. Owning a small-business and starting several from scratch helps me to understand the challenges and demands of achieving great things with limited resources. This makes keeping your tech simple and easy to understand a priority. Working as part of a team towards a common goal was part of everything we did in the military. I learned a lot about supporting each other. This gives meaning to what I do, and it is why I enjoy serving and partnering with small-businesses and non-profits to find a way... Helping and respecting each other without judgement is critical to building a strong community and country. That's why giving back is a part of our mission. In addition to donating a part of all proceeds to veterans and special-needs charities, I am proud to volunteer my time and skills to some great local non-profits: Pay4ward, helping veterans with PTSD through sailing and Bear's Pet Food Pantry, helping people feed their pets during times of financial hardship. What talents do you have that can help others in need?
